This isn't a blog about just being skinny. This is a blog about getting in shape. This is a blog about gaining back self confidence and feeling genuinely happy with yourself. This is a blog about changing for the better and proving the doubters wrong. This is a blog for us.

As you can tell by my garmin (which I looove!) I did 6 miles today in 59:33. It says my pace was 10:18 just because I had stopped to take the picture lolz. Then realized I hadn’t paused/stopped it. We literally ran around that lake twice just because Josh wanted to take pictures there hahah!

My heart literally STOPPED around 4 miles. There was this chihuahua in the bayou running ahead (away more so) from us. At one point we had to run under this bridge, and when I got to the top I accidentally scared the poor dog who thought we were gone. He decided to DART across a 6 lane road! Literally going UNDER cars! I started screaming I was so scared for the poor thing :( It made it to the other side thankfully and some other people tried helping but it just kept running…It was an interesting run for sure.

I love those shorts. I love spandex, too. Haha. I dress like that when I run outside during the summer. I love it. No sticky shirt, haha.

Whitney Thompson againAfter measuring myself and finding out that she’s a size 14, I realized that this is what I will look like at some point in my weight loss journey. And I might stop when I get there. Under my stomach, I measured my hips and they are 43 inches, just like hers. So when I have a flat stomach this is about what I’ll look like. And I would be completely ecstatic to look like this.
I can’t find her real weight online, most people think she’s lying when she says 165 and they think she weighs 195. But from now on, instead of saying a number on the scale for my goal, I’ll say to look like Whitney Thompson. *Also, for all of you comparing your bodies to hers, you have to remember that she is a model and is 5’10”. Obviously if you are, say, 5’5” you will not look the same as her.
